Today I learned that korea has a school that has buildings that look like mini skyscrapers. and They Also have carts where you can buy things from. That is it today
ReplyDeleteToday I learned about the South Koreans were that on Lunar New Year that the parents wear traditional clothing for this special day an make offerings to ancestors. This was one of my wonder it was what are their traditions? Another thing I learned is on Lunar New year and the parents give gifts to many I didn't know it was called Sae Bae. I didn't know the name but I knew the part about the gifts and money.
ReplyDeleteToday i learned that north Korea and south Korea were split in to after world war 2! Also north Korea has the fastest network and internet! My wonder was dose the city have a national park?

DeleteToday I learned that Koreans like spicy food. They also eat raw seafoods. They have a very large electronic industry. They also have tea seramonys.
ReplyDeleteI learned that their national flower is the ROSE OF SHARON. I also learned that they do have a president.His name is LEE MYUNG BAK .And last, Most buildings do not have a 4th floor because it is believed to be an unlucky number.

DeleteToday I learned that the children in south Korea love the holidays new years and children day. I also learned that they have kings. There national flower is the rose of Sharon . Did you know that between 1.5 and 2.4 million Koreans died in the Korean war? Hope you have a good day!
ReplyDeletewhat I learned today is that they celebrate children's day. Children's day is on May 5. One of my wonders was 'what do they eat?'. I only found that they ate pork, tofu, and dumplings on holidays. 'Bye!
ReplyDeleteToday I wondered why isn't the peace treaty signed between North and South Korea. And I think that is why they are still fighting. I did learn today that Tae Kwon Do was originally invented in South Korea. Also, I learned that South Korea has a giant population considering its small size.
ReplyDeleteI wondered what language do South Koreans speak. I found out that South Korean`s language is often mixed with China`s language. I also found out that South Korea is a little smaller then the United State`s Indiana!
ReplyDeleteToday i learned that the capitol of south Korea is Seoul . I knew that it was close to China and Japan. South Korea is a small place but it has a LARGE number of people.some of there favorite foods are beef,pork,tofu and dumplings.

Today I learned that hanbok is an outfit they were for special occasions and traditional ceremonies. They have a lot of camera companies, I wonder how many there are in Korea? Good night!
ReplyDeleteKorea used to be one country. However now their is a North and South Korea because of a war they had. The two places still look very similar.
ReplyDeleteI wondered if they had any legends or beliefs. I learned that hangul is the korean alphabet. For shoes, they use sneakers. I hope every one has a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI learned that there are 7 different languge levels, The languge is Korean. If you know someone really well you use the first level: casual. If you are meeting someone or at a fancy place you use: polite and fancy grammar. The Children are expcted to wait till the oldest person starts eating then they can start eating.
ReplyDeleteI learned that South Korea has modern buildings in some parts of the city and more traditional buildings in other parts pf town. The reason that they have more modern buildings is because USA took the country from Japan. The biggest city in South Korea Is Soul the second biggest city in South Korea is Busan.
