Please reflect on your memories from the performances. What was the most interesting or impressive to you?

Mexico: Jarabe Tapatio
Colombia: The Cumbia
Dominican Republic: Merengue
Cuba and Puerto Rico: Salsa

Argentina: Tango, Gauchos Dance: Malambo, Boleadoras

Spain:

  2. I really enjoyed the whole show! My favorite dance was probably The Salsa. I didn't really like The costume choices for some of them. I also liked the Macarena!, that was super fun! I still wish that I got a red or yellow ticket but, it was still fun! I liked the second half a little bit better than the first one but, I liked them all!

  4. My favorite part of the program was when all of the teachers an students went up to the stage and danced. Most of the Third Graders in the crowd did the same thing that the people on stage were doing. The most impressive the to me was the costumes and how the changed so fast! It takes me five minutes to get dressed for school for them it takes one and a half minutes to change in and out of thire costumes.

  5. My Favorite part of our field trip was the Tango and the Salsa. I liked them because they were very interesting. I loved going up on stage to do the Macarena. The costumes were very different from American costumes. The dance styles were very cool and fun. I will never forget the experience that I went to the Flamenco Ballet Performance.

  8. I thought that it was very interisting to see the different cultures, music and dances. One dance that stood out to me was the dance with the big, fluffy, furry, colerful feathers.Another thing that was not my favorite thing was when the interdoucers told us to repeet in spanish I did not quiet know what I was saying in translation. Last but not least I enjoyed was when the audeance got to go up to the stage and learn some moves and perform.

  14. I liked the Columbin dance the best. When one of the guys had the ropes with the things on the end and he said that he was going to take the girls glasses off I was thinking OMG! thankfully he did not take her glasses off. I liked the first part better than the secont one. over all I thought the field trip was very very very intertaining , wonderful , inerjetic and last of all awesome.

  16. I liked both performances. I can't believe that there are under 15 people in the group. Their hands moved so smoothly and their costumes were amazing! It seemed like dance/music came naturally to them! The tap dancing guy, David was really fast! His arms barely moved but his legs seemed to be on fire. The musicians were good too. ( Especially the drummers and the person with the strings with "rocks" on the end of the strings. ) I thought the field trip was really awesome!!!

  18. I think it was cool when they did the salsa because they did it different then most people think it is. I think it was fun and a lot of work for the flamenco ballet. I had so much fun and I hope I can see it again just maybe after lunch.

  20. I liked every dance especially the salsa and tango. Liked when Mrs. Kottler went up to the stage to do the macaraina. My favorite dancer was David. He was really good at the at the footwork for the salsa. When the dancers did Jarabe Tapito I think I heard La Cucaracha. I also liked how the guy with long hair said "I'm going to take off your glasses with this boleadoras"
