  9. I am proud to be a Texan because we worked so hard to become a Texan and fought hard for our independence!I also learned so much about Texas over the past two weeks! The most interesting things that I learned was that Santa De Anna's leg fell off! I never learned why but I'll ask someone who studied them if they know? The other two were that David Crockett came to Texas because he was mad that some debaters on the other side had cheated to make sure Davy did not win! Also, the woman, slaves, and children in the Alamo were not killed, but all the men were! [BAD SANTA ANNA!]

  11. I learned that Texas was a wild place so not many people moved there until Moses Austin took a chance did a bit then left it to his son Stephen F. Austin took over and invited 300 families to come to Texas not sure that many families would come. And that only wild people or strong people would come to Texas. So if Mexico would have had the same amount of troops as us we would've wrecked. and that people from all over came to Texas of all different types of people.

  12. I love Texas history it's so awesome!! My favorite battle was the Alamo because we always spend so much time on learning about battles that we won. I think it's a lot more fun learning about the battles that we lost! My favorite part that I learned about Susanna is she got remarried five times everybody was like "WHAT?" When they heard that. Texas is an awesome state and it's nice to here about who helped it be free.
