  5. I had soo much fun visiting Canada! I loved seeing my mom trying to ice fish. I didn't really like the ketchup chips and maple syrup candy. my favorite part was when we got to play ice hockey. I was on a team with Maddy. We won 3 to 1. I loved feeling the fake snow it felt soft and cold. I learned that you can go ice fishing with a pole or a spear. I also learned a saying, if the ice is blue its tride and true, white and crispy way to risky. The last thing I learned was that escomos used arrow heads to fight off bears and other wild animals.

  10. i think that we are lucky to have I Fair at Kinkaid. My favorite part of Canada was when we played hockey and went fishing. I loved the ketchup chips we tried when we visited the country today. I could have a whole bag of those they were so good! I learned the maple trees produce sap to make maple syrup. At first I thought you just would eat the sap from there but you have to boil it in a pan.
Visiting Canada was a great experience!

  12. I learned how cool it would be to live in an igloo. think of living in a snow fort where it did not even get cold! I can't believe snow actually keeps some Canadians warm. I also learned that if you see a lake that is frozen over it is only safe to step on it if it is blue if it is clear don't step on it because you will risk going through! Theres cool history of canaan sports like hockey! Tribes played hockey and it passed down generations and now it is a popular sport in Canada. To add on to the history in Canada I learned that in tribes the more feathers you had on you head dress the braver you are.

  15. I Loved the fake snow in Canada! I learned that there is ketchup chips and pure maple syrup candy! I also learned that there was a hockey player and he plays hockey in Canada! I learned that blue ice you can crack a hole in without falling in. Do not poke a hole in the white ice, you may fall in freezing water and get frostbite. I am very sad that this was our last I-Fair.

    G-night!

  16. I love going to Canada it was really fun the snow next to the icefishing and igloo was super addicting to touch I wanted to bring it home with me. I learned that when you ice fish to know if the ice is good it has to be like really bright blue-ish and if it's white that means it's not a good place to dig your fishing hole. I also learned that it takes a day or two for the maple syrup to come out of the tree. I also really like to making the arrowhead necklaces they were really pretty!! Canada was my favorite country to go to!!!

  17. My favorite thing at Canada was the fake snow area because it felt cold and real. I also liked when we played hockey because it was a actally slippery. And I also thought it was weird that it took a whole day for a bucket of sap. And I thought it was cool because when they went ice fishing they would tow a small wood shack on the ice then cut a hole in the middle and put a heater in it then stay there the whole day. I also wonder what tools they use to make a igloo or if they even use tools.
