Thanksgiving is just a week away. Many of us will spend time with family and friends. This holiday gives us a chance to think of what we are grateful for.
Please share some of the people, experiences or things that fill your heart with thanksgiving! Don't forget to elaborate on WHY these people, experiences or things make you feel grateful. Write at least 4 sentences please.
I am extremely grateful for my wonderful teaching position at Kinkaid! I spend every work day with students and teachers who love learning! I am thankful that Kinkaid takes the whole week off. I plan to use my time wisely.
ReplyDeleteI am grateful to have a house that will be filled with family and food this Thanksgiving. I will spend time cooking and eating well. I am thankful to have extra time with Aliya and Caia who are growing so fast. We will play, do art projects and spend time outside.
Most of all, I am thankful for my family's health and happiness. I look forward to a great week together.
I like thanksgiving because we can give thanks to other people. It is also fun to have friends and family over. I remember one thanksgiving I was with my cousins in Tennessee. We went rock climbing and we also had root beer and pizza. I hope you guys have a good Thanksgiving! bye!
ReplyDeleteI am grateful to have a house to live in. And that I'm not a hobo. This year my grandparents are coming here that's a relief because my grandma is the only one in the family that can cook.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my parents. Without my mom I would not have food because she cooks. I am grateful for my dad because he gives me anything that I want.Every year we make a turkey to share and have a feast with our cousins.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my family that I have. I am very grateful and happy that I get to go on special trips and get to go see my family and other people. Having thanksgiving is really cool because you get to be grateful and have fun with your family and friends. I am grateful for the food and the opportunities that I get to get at any place or any shop or places. I am very glad that I get to have a wonderful school and a wonderful teacher and I get the best learning that it's any person because a lot of people don't have that much abilities because they are polar or they don't have enough money to a school like ours and so I'm thankful for Kincaid my teacher and faculty and staff. This Thanksgiving I am going to our farm and seeing all my cousins and eating a great yummy Thanksgiving lunch and then I get to go to my grandma mothers house and we are staying in the house across the street from Paris and so we can give thanks and have fun with my family because my dad has eight siblings and we never really get to get together and give have some time together because they're always busy or doing something so excited.

ReplyDeleteThis thanksgiving I am going to Florida with my dads side of the family. I am grateful for my friends , family and nature because if I did not have them life would be sad. When someone says" Thanksgiving" I think of turkeys and family and pilgrims. I love Thanksgiving because I get to be with my family and friends and have fun!

ReplyDeleteI am thankful for free dress week and no school next week. I am also thank full for my family and A LOT of cousins . I love the thanks giving dinner were I get marshmallows in my sweet potatoes mashed potatoes and an amazing turkey. Also thankful for being healthy.

DeleteI am thankful for my dog Lola,Because she always helps me when I am sad.I am also thankful for being able to go to Kinkaid,because it's such a great school. I am super thankful my health, because I can do almost any athletic sport. But I am most thankful for my family, because well who doesen't love at least one family member like your mom or your dad or your cousins. So that's what I'm thankful for.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for my family, friends, food, cloths, my house and many other things! I am most thankful for my family! The help me with so many things! I am so grateful that they are with me every day of my life because I don't know what I would do without them!!!! I am also very thankful for my school and teachers! I normally go down to my ranch but were not this year because my grandfather has cancer. But we will still have a great Thanksgiving here!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for my family, food, and friends. We are going to New Orleans for Thanksgiving. It will be so fun but its a 5 hour trip and i'm NOT Thankful for that 5 hour trip! I'm grateful to have a home with the sun and the moon. I am grateful for our pets. I'm thankful for our freedom.
ReplyDeleteFor Thanksgiving we go to my ranch and have a feast with practically the whole family. It takes a long time to get there but I am thankful for the ABC game and iPads to keep everyone happy and entertained! I am so grateful than my great grandmother will sill be joining us for the feast! I am also grateful for my family, pets, house school, teacher and much more
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for my food, family, friends, and basketball because my family helps me in basketball so as going to basketball camps during the summer so I can get better. I am thankful for my food because some people don't have any money to buy food to feed their family. I am thankful for my friends and family friends because they help out around the house sometime and when ever anyone in my family is sad they can comfort them through a tough time they are having. ReplyDeleteI am thankful for the food that we have and the liquids. If you were here in 2nd grade we had a challenge to open a wrapper without our thumbs and that made us feel thankful for our thumbs. I am also thankful for inventors because if we didn't have them then we probably would die. I think this year will be a great thanksgiving for me. I hope you have a great one too!!!
