No they should not because they might have activities and then you would give them a purple slip for not having any time to do it. And some people have parents that are super busy and you don't see them much and when you see them you have to do homework. I think that you should have homework once in awhile but not everyday. And that's why I think kids should not have homework.

DeleteI support both sides. I think that homework is good for our education, but can also be stressful. I think that if we had just one page or sheet of each subject or less, we would have more time to play sports or spend time with our family. I also think that when we have holidays or even just very small holidays, we should have no homework. Everybody needs to have some free time off from school. I always enjoy the feeling when you finish homework, or just about anything!

DeleteYes,kids need homework. I think that because it helps you remember and practice what we did at school. If we did not have homework then school might be pointless but people do get in trouble if they don't do it. So I think that everyone should have a little bit and have like two days to do it.
ReplyDeleteI think that kids should have homework but it should not be stressful because stress breaks down the body. Homework should be fun and educating. Some nights I have to stay up a little longer than I should because my homework is complicated. But some homework is good because it makes you think about what you learned in school and it keeps it fresh in your mind. So we should have homework some days but not a lot every single day.

I also think that it causes stress because you can get stressed about staying up to late. Or going out of town and have alot of homework
ReplyDeleteI think kids should have homework because they could be prepared for the next day at school. For example, if there is a test the next day instead of coming to school and saying "wait I don't know what the test is about and I don't even know that we had a test today" you could be prepared. But, I don't think that homework should be to long like 2 hours. That is way to much time because you need time for other subjects like sports. But I think YES you should have some homework.
ReplyDeleteI think you should have homework. It will prepare you for middle school and high school education. When students have homework it helps them think about what they learned in school. Homework helps students review!
ReplyDeleteI think we should have homework because it helps refresh your mind so you don't forget the subject the very next day. Also some kids might need it more then others and it wouldn't be fair if some kids had homework and other kids didn't. It also help prepare you for middle or high school education.
ReplyDeleteI am neutral. I think they should have homework but not a lot. I think some homework is stressful and some isn't. I think most homework is fun (in a way) and it might help you when you grow up and get a job. Like an accountant. I hop you have a fun and happy day! Gooood Byyyye!
ReplyDeleteI think children should NOT have homework. If they do, sometimes it is really hard and before you know it, you don't have a lot of time to spend with your family! I don't think you should because you do school ALL DAY. If we didn't have homework, we could do stuff at home that we couldn't do at school!!! You could have more time with family!!!

I think you should have no homework. Why can't we do it in school. And people have to do stuff after school. And to remember you can write it n a sticky. You mite not having any time to do it. and as Ien said,that you should have homework once in awhile but not everyday.So that is what I think. see you tomorrow.

DeleteI think kids should not have homework. homework is a source of stress and can cut off kids athletics time. forgetting home work means kids lose recess and thats losing time for athletics. and kids should gave at least 1 hour and 30 minutes of activity. school work is for school not home. but thats just my opinion bye.
ReplyDeleteI can not say for only one side. but I mixed the two sides together. I think kids should have 3 days of homework. but here is the twist on one of the days is a game day. so that way we kids can have time for sports family time and after school activitys.and when we get older we are not only uused to doing work in school.😍😘😋

DeleteI think kids should not have homework because if they give a lot of homework the kid might not like school and it does not give you a lot of time to play sports. And it does not give you a lot of time to spend with your family. But I think that you should have 30 to and hour reading at night . That's what I think.

ReplyDeleteI think kids should only have a little bit of home work. They shouldn't have too much homework because people have activites,but they should still be able to reflect on what they did in class.Also parents should be able to see what their kids are doing and so teachers can see if the kids get it so they can help them undersand.I think we should have a few pages to do for the whole week in case they have activites.
ReplyDeleteI support both sides. I think that you should not have homework because it's hard when you have activities after school. Having homework is really hard when you have activities and you come home really late. And fourth grade you get purple slips and you do not want purple slips. I think you should have homework because you can reflect on what you did at school that day and your parents will know what you learned. Having homework versus not having homework is a hard call to make.

ReplyDeleteWe need a review on what we have learned in school. At the same time, if to much homework can be stressful. We should have like a packet of homework and we have to complete it before Friday. At the same time with that some kids complete it in one sitting. Witch is no good because you might have not learned the lesson yet. So I am on booth sides.
I think we should have homework because at school you can copy off your friends but at home there is no one to copy off of so you can do it by yourself. and plus we need to reflect on what we did that day because most of the time you forget what you did in class.
