Giving Thanks



We are learning that the Native Americans practiced gratitude often. They even thanked the animals for giving them the gift of food. Thanksgiving is just weeks away. Many of us will spend time with family and friends. This holiday gives us time to think about what we are grateful for. 
Please share some of the people and things that fill your heart with gratitude! Write at lease 3 sentences please.

    I'm thankful for the food we eat and all of are family, also I'm thankful for the roof over my head, And for the teacher that give us education.

    I am thankful for my Mom because she cooks for my family and my Dad because he makes the money in the house and buys things that are fun for us kids. I am thankful for the animals because they nourish me with food. I am thankful for the farmers who raise the animals and grow crops and send crops to markets where they are put on sale. And lastly, I am thankful for the world itself for having a place for me in it.

      Malaya, thank you for your thoughtful response! We are so fortunate to live in a place where our grocery stores are always full and we can pretty much buy whatever foods we would like!

    I am thankful for my food, my school, and of course my beloved teacher, Mrs. Kottler! I am also thankful for my clothes, my home and my loving parents! {I am also thankful for video games.} What are you thankful about Mrs. Kottler?!!

      I am so thankful for many things! I am most thankful to have people to love and people who love me. I am thankful for the heater that warms my house on a cold night like tonight. I ever thankful for electricity and running water that make our lives so comfortable. I am very thankful to be a teacher at Kinkaid and teach wonderful students like all of you!

    I am always thankful for all my jacomini cousins for coming to my farm and having a big fun thanksgiving. I am thankful for all the things we eat, and I am always thankful for the pretty weather on thanksgiving. I can't wait till thanksgiving!!!!!

    Iam thankful for food.My friends.My family. I am thankful for the water
    I have. I am REALLY thankful for ... MY AWSOME teacher mrs kottler
    Who is nice and calm. But what I am most thankful for is that I have
    what I have. This year I went on a mission trip this summer. Ps if any
    of you don't know what a mission trip is? It is a helping trip. When I was
    there I got to see a lot of stuff one of the things I saw was BOB the
    coconut. I ate him..oop's. I also ate BOB JR. the mango... I also
    climbed on a house. That part's really scary. That's where I ate BOB JR Mmm still tastes good. And I helped an orphanage. These days
    I feel good.

    I am thankful for My Mom,Dad,Hannah and Tigger (ps Tigger is my kitten and Hannah is my 15 year old sister) I am also thankful for Mrs. Kottler ! And all my really COOL classmates! And I am also thankful for the Word and every thing in it!

    I am grateful for my beloved Parents! and My parents who help me me with school and math. Also my awesome loyal sweet friends! And our hole class. And my food and clothes and my fun toys!!!! I could not be more grateful for my christmas gifts and air conditioning Thank you For being awesome this seamester!!!!!!!!!!!
