We love to read! We have been reading nonfiction and fiction in class. Please write about what book or books you have recently finished (in school or at home). Then, write about what you are reading now and what you plan to read next. We should always be thinking about what we want to read next so that we are always reading! Reading each others' responses may give YOU an idea about what to read next!

ReplyDeleteI loved reading How to Steal a Dog with our class. We learned a lot about doing the right thing and how our actions affect others. Currently, we are reading The Witches. It is a fantasy novel about a boy who comes face to face with a room of witches! It is the perfect book to read to prepare for Halloween. Next, our class will read some picture books and legends written by Native American tribes. We'll write our own legends soon!

DeleteI like the dragonbreath series. I am on book 9! It is called case of the toxic mutants. In every book danny [the main character] meets a relative execept for book 3 and book 7.

DeleteHi Its Kate Im reading Mallory Moving i'm not sure because I left it at school and i'm mad it is such a good book! I recommend it to all the girls!
ReplyDeleteIn the book her parents tell her they're moving Mallory says no shill just move to her next door neighbor Maryann her mom said NO! so they start to pack and her brother comes in and is happy to moving away from brain head ( aka Mary ann) and she roles her eyes (Fun Fact mallory loves telling jokes and loves cats she has one named Cheeseburger!) Then the next morning her mom comes and wakes her by a joke the she gets a call from Mary ann. Mary ann throws her a surprise party thats all Blue its her favorite color besides lavender so they make a deal don't ever paint your toes any other color so that way they remember each other then the next day she leaves and her street is cold Wish Pond Road and in the car her dad tells her the legend of the street!

DeleteI jest finished at school The Night Fairy. I t was really grate! IT is about a fairy that has her wings bit of! She lands in a garden she has to find a way to live. I am reading at school Palmer's Pacha I jest stared it. And I can't wait to finish it.I plan to read No dogs aloud next it is by Bill Wallace I really like him

ReplyDeleteI am reading DIARY OF A WIMPY KID. It is really funny because he has all these problems. For Christmas his brother Manny circles all these things in a magazine and gets all of them. Even a race car he can drive. He doesn't get any thing but... His dad gets him weights. His mom wants him in a play: the wizard of oz. They watch the movie, and he wants to be a tree. There is a girl he does not like, aka Dorothy and he throws apples at her. And her glases break. And in the book, Toto is reading comic books. The show is a reck. And Roderick his brother tries to make fun of him. Bye CHLOE.

ReplyDeleteI recently finished reading The House Of Hades.Its about greek and roman mytholigy but its still fiction and every chapter starts with a funny sentence like,"On the third attack,Hazel almost ate a boulder." or,"Jason got out of his death bed to drown with his friends." Right now I am reading The Blood Of Olimpus and The Darkest Hour.Next I plan to read The Sword Of Summer.
