We had wonderful time sharing our Westward Expansion projects and work samples! I am curious. What was your favorite activity that we did during this unit? Was is the journal, the iBook with widgets, Aurasma, time line, map, brain tracking or viewing to learn with Little House on the Prairie? Please give a detailed explanation about what you liked or did not enjoy as much.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part(s) of our pioneer unit was: Watching Little House On The Prairie to learn how tough it was to be a pioneer, & making our iBook. I also liked Pioneer Hour. In my opinion Pioneer Hour and making our iBook were the most fun in our pioneer unit. I liked everything that we did in our pioneer unit but watching Little House On The Prairie, making our iBook, & Having Pioneer Hour were my favorite things in our pioneer unit.

DeleteMy favorites were the Ibook beacuse we could make a lot of cool stuff with widgets. My second favorite was little house on the prairie beacuse it had so much action and it helped me write stuff in my journal.

I really enjoyed Pioneer hour because we got to share our exciting, interesting information with our parents and maybe grandparents. And we got to use the Ibook and the really cool widgets to learn even more about the Pioneers with our guests. Our journals were the most fun to me because we got to test our knowledge a little bit and really imagine and learn more about what it would really be like to be a child on the rough 5-6 months to Oregon. I really thought Little House on the Prairie was a very good view of some ideas for things to include in your journal. I am sad to finish our Pioneer unit but hope to learn even more sometime at home.

ReplyDeleteI really liked every single activity we did except for the packets and booklets because they didn't really seem like activities to me at all. I enjoyed the journal because we had freedom to write about whatever we wanted in it! I liked the ibook because of all the widgets and exploring we had! I also sort-of liked the Aurasma because we got to talk about our pioneer personalities! I really like Little House On The Prairie because it always leaves you hanging and it's super exiting!

I liked them all but I think my favorite one was watching LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRE.

Pioneer hour was really fun I loved the biscuits, sharing our journal was really fun to.
our pioneer unit was really fun I really wish we didn't have to end it.
I really liked the I-book the most because I got to use the cool widgets to explore with. I also liked journaling because it was fun to create entries about the stopps on the trail when you wanted. I enjoyed the Aurasma. It was a cool way to tell about your family. I did not like the brain tracking because as soon as I answer a question another one comes up and it seemed like it never would end. I liked Little House On The Prairie because it was a way to learn about pioneers without reading or being on a computer.
ReplyDeleteI liked this whole unit, but I really liked watching Little House On The Prairie. It was full of great facts! I especially liked it when the fire was closing in on the house. It was very exciting! I also like the aurasma. It was so cool when a video of you just popped up on the screen! But I am still thankful that I am not a pioneer!
ReplyDeleteI liked Little House On The Prairie the most because, It is full of adventure and how they lived once they got to Oregon, California, Kansas, New Mexico and many more. They showed that with Indians, wars, fires, wells, sickness, dangers and happiness. I also loved my journal because it showed the trail from a prospective of a pioneer. Going through them with our parents was like going through a real pioneer life. Over all this was my favorite unit and it always will be.
ReplyDeleteI liked making the ibook most because I learned some really cool stuff. The widgets were awesome! Especially the gallery and the interactive- label thing. I also liked the aurasma. My mom was super impressed with the technology! One of my other favorite things was actually journaling from a pioneer perspective. Pioneers face so many dangers!! Pioneer hour was fun too. We got to show our parents all our work and make homemade (school made) butter for the first time! Pioneer hour was definitely worth all the research!!!

DeleteI liked Little House on the Prairie and Journaling. I liked Little House on the Prairie because it is so exciting and full of surprises. I look forward to see little House on the Prairie on Friday. I like Journaling because I got to write in the perspective of a pioneer. I also liked making targets happen in my journal. Over all I loved pioneer day It was so fun and I wish I could do it again. On pioneer day the biscuits, Butter and beef jerky were absolutely delicious.
ReplyDeleteI liked Journaling from a pioneer's perspective because it made me go back in time to the pioneer's days. I though that the Aurasma was very complicated but very fun I though it was cool how the video popped up on top of the picture.
ReplyDeleteI liked the ibook, Aurasma and journaling. The iBook was fun to type and hard. The Aurasma was easy and cool. the Journal was like real life and very amazing! We got to learn a lot from this unit.
