In reading workshop today, we practiced being active readers by asking questions as we read. We discovered that sometimes reading on helps us answer our questions. Other times, more research or conversations with others are needed. Sometimes, our questions will go unanswered.
What were some of your questions as we read The Wolf Girls? Do you think the girls were really raised by wolves? Do you think Dr. Singh made up his story? What do you think is the truth about the girls?
What is the Wolf Girls? Will the girls survive? How do they not get hurt by the wolfs? I do not think Dr. Singh made up the story. I think they really were raised by the wolfs.
ReplyDeleteMy theory about the Wolf Girls is that Mr. Singh made up the whole story and that the Wolf Girls were were not raised by wolfs, they just happened to have mental disabilities. Some of my questions are; Why did they bite? Why did they howl? And why did they claw people?
ReplyDeleteI think The Wolf Girls weren't raised by wolves. I just think their parents taught them how to act like wolves and they kept acting like wolves and forgot how to act like humans. I think Dr. Singh made up the story to get money.
ReplyDeleteThe facts in this story are true but Dr. Singh's journal probably is not! Who could ever survive living with wolves? They might of just had mental disabilities or did things that wolves did but that doesn't mean they were raised by wolves! Some important questions I had were: Why was Dr. Singh making all these things up? And can anyone really be raised by wolves?
ReplyDeleteSome of my questions were Who left the girls with the wolves? That question was left unanswered. One that was answered was : Why is Dr. Singh pretending to have found the wolf girls? He did it for $!
ReplyDeleteOne of my questions was who lived with the wolf girls before they were dumped.I kind of think Dr.singh was lying and kind of think he was telling the truth.

I think that Singh's journal is wrong. He just is greedy for money. The two girls were probably raised by wolves (or maybe some other animal.) because they had sharp teeth unlike humans. Also , the girls must have spent about two years or less with the wolves because the little girl is two years old. I wonder if the girl's parents abandoned them by wolves so they could be eaten?
ReplyDeleteI think that Dr.Singh's journal is wrong.I don't think the girls we're raised by wolves.They we're just hungry and scared. Maybe this story is true maybe it's not.How we're the girls born?How long did it take them to learn to talk and walk when they spent SO long not knowing?

ReplyDeleteWhy does she want to be a detective? How are the girls raised with wolves? How did they live eating raw meat? Wouldn't the girls get eaten by the wolves? Who left the girls? Why were they sick? Will the girls survive? Is this story non-fiction? Why is Dr. Singh making up the story? Why hot tea? Why did Mrs. Singh cut off their hair?

ReplyDeleteI think that the girls parents did not have enough money to care for them , or there was a horrible tornado or storm. Then I think the girls were in the wild because their mom and dad did not know where to put them. Then they met wolves and they looked at them for a while but then they just saw how they acted, but the were not raised by them.

I think Dr. Singh's Journal was a big hoax. He just wanted an extra buck. Here is my question, is Dr. Singh's Journal a big hoax?

ReplyDeleteI think that maybe the wolf girls did have a family but they could't take care of them. So for some weird reason they thought wolfs could take care of of the wolf girls.
