I know you have been working hard to prepare for your science test. Please teach me some information about structures and electricity. Impress me with your knowledge! Write at least two sentences.

  1. A parallel circuit is a circuit that all houses use. It has two light bulbs and if one goes out, the other bulb does not. For example, if your refrigerator goes out, your oven does not. On a suspension bridge, you call the poles "towers" and on any other bridge, you call them "piers".

  2. A short circuit does no work.A short circuit can also set a fire.It gets extremly hot and so I reccomend you do not touch one.A truss bridge is the strongest bridge I know of.

  3. Compression is a pushing force and tension pulling force. A series curcuit is when one light goes out they all go out and there are dim lights because there are two light bulbs. :):):):):)

  4. Compression is a pushing force and tension is a pulling force. On a beam bridge the poles are not called towers they are called piers.

  5. In a series circuit if one light goes out all of them do In a parelel circuit if one goes out thats the only light that goes out. On A suspension bridge the distance between the towers that holds the bridge up is called the span and what holds the towers in place is called the anchors.

  6. I have learned that a conductor circuit allows electricity to travel to one place to another. I also learned that the stone that holds an arch bridge together is called the key stone.

  7. I know that your belly button is your center of mass some people call it your center of gravity or your center of balance. I also know that everything has a center of gravity.

  8. A sort circuit is a circuit that does no work. And I also learned that the main force pushing on a bridge is gravity.

  9. I learned that the three main forces are;gravity(pushing downward),compression(pushing on the sides)and tension,a pulling force. Also, the live load is the weight of the objects crossing the bridge.

  10. I learned that on a ceries cicut if one light goes out all the others do too. I also know that tourqe is a circuler force.

  11. I learned that Compression is a pushing force and Tension is a pulling force. Force means: to push or pull that makes something move, change direction or change speed.

  12. I know that on a series cicut if one light goes out all the others do to. I also know that tourqe is a circuler force.tension and compression are forces too tension is a pulling force and compression is a pushing force.

  13. I know that compression is a pushing force and tension is a pulling force. I also know that torque is a circular force made up of distance and weight. These are some of the forces that are put on bridges. :^)

  14. A short circuit is a circuit that does no work cause there is a wire that cuts of beFore it reaches the lightbulb or something so i t goes the shorter way. A parallel circuit is a circuit that all houses use because if one light goes out not all go out and they stay bright like in a series circuit both lights are dim and if one goes out all go out.

  15. I learned that....Balance is when two forces are equal but push or pull in opposite directions.I also learned three ways you can increase the strength of an electromagnet use a bigger nail, get a bigger battery,or do more coils around the nail.:0

  16. A circuit is wires that electrisid goes through. A cunducter is medel that lets eletrisidy go thruogh.

  17. The center of Gravity on a person is the Belly Button.
Insulators let no electricity go thru.

  18. a parellell circit is a circuit that if one bulb goes out all the rest stay on. A short circuit is a circuit that does no work

  19. short circuits go super fast and gets hot. parellell circuit when one light gos out the others stay lit
