In assembly last Friday, Mrs. Babine spoke about courage.
She said that one way to define courage is the ability to do something difficult even if you are afraid.

- tell the truth about a mistake or bad decision you made
- stand up for a friend
- stand up for yourself
I had courage when I slammed the door on my dog's tail. My dad asked who did it and I said I did. My consequence was a spanking. I learned to be careful when my dogs are behind me.

DeleteOnce I broke a jar. And my brother was standing next to it and I ran away before my mom could see it. later that day I told my mom the truth and she said I was not punished. It took courage to tell her the truth.

DeleteI had courage when I broke a bowl and said it was me but I could have said it was Wilson or Reeves and she said I would have got in more trouble if I lied.

ReplyDeleteI had courrage when I went to the rodeo and went on a ride. The ride took you all the way to the top of a very tall building then you dropped all the way down and it went really fast. I was so scared!!!!

ReplyDeleteI had to use courage when I accidentally broke my brother's favorite lego set. My brother got really mad at me so I had to have the courage to tell my mom about what I did. :^)

DeleteI hade courage to tell my mom that i brock my I tuch that was only 1 moth old. I also hade courage to tack blame form missing a wining cach for one of are last football games. I also took blame for my 6 year old sister fore leting one of my moms friends dog lose.

Once I went to Kemah Boardwalk and I almost was not tall enough to go on a ride called the Bullet. But,I was wearing boots,so the guy who was measuring me said that I was tall enough to go on the ride. I was scared to go,but when the ride was over, i realized that it was not that scary,but really fun!
ReplyDeleteOnce me and my brother were playing in the living room and there are breakable glass candles in there and my brother was backing up he backed up so far he knocked the table and the candle broke into bits. When my dad found out he was really mad at my brother. I had to say " It's not all fault he backed up because I was walking forward and he was walking backward". So he got mad at both of us but it was worth it.

ReplyDeleteOnce I broke my mom's favorite plate and I had courage to tell her. When I was little and I was scard to jump off the tall tall diving bord I had courage to go. Also I had courage to stand up for my self.
