Travelling West
Think about your pioneer family. What are some good things that might happen to your family on the trail? What are some bad things or dangers your family may face?Please write at least 2 good things and 2 bad things that might happen. Write in complete sentences.
We could find a big herd of buffalo and have a feast. We could make it to Oregon safely and have a house. We could lose our good supplies and oxen crossing a very dangerous river. If we walk in our wagon one day and out of nowhere there is at least 9 rattlesnakes in the wagon.

DeleteOn the trail, my family might get an awesome deal at one of the forts where they can buy equipment. We could also find a heard of buffalo and be able to eat for a long time. The bad news is we might lose an Ox from heat stroke or our wagon could get stuck in the mud and we would not be able to go on.

DeleteOn the trail my family might find 500 dollars and be rich. Another thing that could happen is that we could trade some beads for gold the with native americans.Some bad things that could happen on the trail is sombody could get colora or someone could fall off the wagon and get run over.

DeleteWe might meet some Native Americans and trade good stuff with them. We might find a good stray search dog. A bad thing is someone could fall out of the wagon and get run over. Someone could get sick and die on the trail.

DeleteOn the trail my family will see a guy to trade our horses for oxen. We will also see native americans and we will trade for good stuff. The bad part is my sister will get sick and my dog gets lost.
ReplyDeleteOn the trail my family will get extra supplies on the trail from the store. And get a free pair of oxen but bad things might happen. Like our wagon will lose its wheel in a river. And our friend will get sick and her family will have to turn home.
ReplyDeleteOn the trail we could find kind Native Americans and they could trade us valuable things. We could find a herd of buffalo and it could last us a long time. The bad thing that could happen is the mean Native Americans could steal our oxen and our supplies. Another bad thing is our wagon could lose all of our stuff in a river and our wagon could sink.
ReplyDeleteSome good things that could happen on the trail are : having a new brother, seeing a herd of buffalo so we can get their meat, getting a pair of moccasins, getting a Mustang, and not get sick.

On the trail our family might happen to see some friendly native Americans who will trade some valuable stuff with us. Or, we could not run into any snakes.
ReplyDeleteA bad thing that could happen to our family on the trail is that somebody in our wagon train gets out of controll and steals all of our stuff and won't give it back. Also, we could run into a ton of snakes that could raid our wagon train, and everyone gets killed.
A good thing that could happen is that we meet really nice Indians and they give us free moccasins. Another good thing that could happen is we almost run out of food and someone else gives some of theirs.

one of the bad things is that a family could die from a sickness,the other bad thing that could happen is if a family member falls of a wagon and gets run over by the wagon wheel. The good thing that could happen is that we could make it to oregon, the other good thing could be we make it to independence rock on july 4th.

DeleteThe good thing that will happen is my whole family will stay alive and we will make it there . But the bad thing that will happen another familys wagon brakes and some people loose all there food.

DeleteOne of the good things is you will have a guide to lead you the way so you don't get lost. Another good thing is that sometimes you get to ride in the wagon.
ReplyDeleteBut usually you don't. And when your in the back you get all this dust in your mouth good thing we rotate.
I would like to walk but then my legs would heart so i would ride in a wagon but then i t would be bumpy.It would bot be fun to go in a sand storm.
ReplyDeleteTwo good things that my happen to my family might be being able to find food that lasts for the whole travel and being healthy for the entire trip. Two bad things that may happen to my family are being robbed and being stuck in a bad storm.
