I loved Cafe!!!! I definitely learned that this year is the year of the 🐑. I also learned that the the year of the 🐑, the ram and the 🐐 are the same thing!!!! People who didn't go to Cafe, go to Cafe!!! It is fun!!! You won't regret going to Cafe!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteToday at C.A.F.E. I learned that before Chinese New Year they do a good cleaning of their houses because it is bad luck to do it on Chinese New Year. I also found out I was born the year of the Roster and on the first Chinese New Year the animal was the Rat. I hope anyone who DID NOT do C.A.F.E will join me and Mrs. O'conall, MRS. KOTTLER!!! Mrs. Little, and Mrs. Curry in our next meating!

At Cafe I learned that on Chinese new year you can't clean your house. And on Chinese new year eve you clean your entire house.
ReplyDeleteYes, you don't want to do cleaning on the actual New Year's Day because you could be sweeping away good luck coming to you in the New Year!

I learned that you clean your hole house on new years eve and on new years day you can`t clean your house not at all but you probably don`t have to because you did all of the cleaning the other day.I also learned that this year is the year of the goat also the year of the horse was last year. Also if you did not join cafe I would join because it is really fun! BYE

I learned that I was born in the year of the dog, based on Chinese new year. I also learned that the Chinese clean their homes to prepare for Chinese New Year. They like the color red because they feel it takes away evil spirits. They believe that because of a mythical monster that ate the villagers. They crack firecrackers and big fireworks. And now for my comment. When I was little I celebrated Chinese new year with some family friends from China and they had peking duck and chicken soup and chinese candy and we got red envelopes with money in it. It was so fun and I wore my special outfit that was a chinese dress.

ReplyDeleteToday in C.A.F.E I learned that this year is the year of the sheep.Also that the food or the desert is really good and what is odd about the desert is that it has beens! Some of the other food that they has for Chinese new year is cake that has rice sugar and dough. What learned that I think they shoot fear crackers up in the air at the stroke after 12 am. [same with us.] I also learned that they can't clean up on new years day because they think that that will sweep up all the good luck away, so they do a manger clean up before new years day. And one last thing that I learned is that that they scare away the dragons long ago with fire crackers.

I learned that there was a mythical creature that the villagers did not like because he destroyed there village so a wise man told them that he was afraid of the color red and noise (the dragon.) So the villagers hung red paper crafts on their door and made loud noise and scared the creature away. I also learned that I was born on the year of the rooster. I also learned that this year is the year of the sheep. I also learned that on Chinese New Year that the kids get red envelopes with money in them and that it was unlucky to get an odd number of money. I also learned that the day before Chinese New Year everyone cleans their house to wash away all of the bad things you did last year and bring in the new good things. I also learned that it was unlucky to wash eneything on Chinese New Year because you would wash away your luck. I also learned that Paten's mom is a good cook!!!!
