I've learned that in Australia there is a group of people who are something like native americans. I also learned that just like us, kids there like video games and TV and LOVE the outdoors and do biking, swimming and hiking.

I learned that in India most kids go to school at least 2 saturdays a month, most of the kids especially girls couldn't go to school because they were expected to work at their homes to help their families earn money. The uniforms were white shirts for boys and a colored skirt for the girls.

ReplyDeleteI learned that in Australia they play a lot of sports including, soccer, cricket netball (basketball with no dribbling), and a lot more. What I learned about India is that the kids there LOVE movies from the U.S.A. no matter how long ago they were made! I am looking forward to international fair and hope we all get a homework pass!!

Marsupials include kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and wombats. Monotremes are astounding animals that are mammals yet they lay eggs. Australia is full of these fascinating animals. ReplyDeleteIn India most people eat with their right hands instead of forks and it has over 100 types of mangoes (they are my most favorite fruit). Mangoes are also the country's national fruit. Yoga originated thousands of years ago in ancient India. It is a class of streting.
