Pioneer Hour Reflections

I am so proud of each of you! You researched for weeks and were able to write from the perspective of a pioneer child on the trail! Your journal entries are thoughtful, historically accurate and VERY entertaining!

Please write three or more sentences about our Pioneer Hour. Which project were you the most proud to share? What was the best compliment you received? What do you think could be improved for the students next year?

Courage

In assembly last Friday, Mrs. Babine spoke about courage.
She said that one way to define courage is the ability to do something difficult even if you are afraid.

Please share a time when you have had the courage to:

• tell the truth about a mistake or bad decision you made
• stand up for a friend
• stand up for yourself

How did you feel when your were being honest? Were you nervous? Were you sorry for what you did? Have you been the ONE to stand up in a situation where the right thing was not happening? Has anyone ever stood up for you in a tough situation? Please write at least three complete sentences.
