Laurie Keller is coming to visit us in March! We have been reading her books and enjoying her illustrations. DeleteMy favorite book is Arnie the Doughnut because it is funny and teaches you a lesson to be yourself. I also like her illustrations because of all the side words and speech bubbles. The pictures make it more exciting to read than if there were just words on a page.

My favorite book by Laurie Keller is Arnie The Doughnut and Do Unto Otters. I really like her books because she has amazing drawings and really makes her writing pop out! She is one of my favorite author and I can`t wait until she gets here!!

DeleteI like the book Grampa gazilion's Number Yard! its my favorite book cause Laurie Keller makes the number into things you can use! my favorite thing about her books are she makes the words into actions like clay she makes the words go with the pictures
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book by Laurie Keller is probobly Birdy's Smile Book because it teaches you to smile:0 and be happy while doing absaloutly EVERYTHING,except eating broccoli:0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the way Laurie makes the words different colors like for example the names she makes them bigger and colorful. My favorite book by Laurie Keller is Arnie the Doughnut because it is so creative!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book was OPEN WIDE. it's about teeth going to school something you wouldn't really think about. thats why I like Laurie Keller she has a really good imagination:+)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is The Scrambled States of America. I like that she doesn't only make the main characters talk but she has other characters say things too on the side. There is always something going on outside the main story. The pictures are made of bright colors. Best of all the book is really funny! :^)
ReplyDeleteI like how she makes the states face how there feeling like Kansas in The Scrambled states of America. And in Arnie The Donut I like how she changed the couler and the font of the text.
