This morning on KLS, Mrs. Babine talked about how sometimes in life it is the small things you do for others that count. Writing a letter to your grandmother, holding the door for your parents on your way in to a restaurant, making a homemade present for a friend—these are all small things that mean A LOT. With the holiday season coming up, what are some small things you can do for others? Write at least 3 complete sentences.  Be very thoughtful about what you write.

  12. For Christmas I painted a garden gnome for my Dad. I am going to help my Mom in the mornings by doing my chores like feeding the dog without being reminded. In the past, my family has taken toys to the Women's Shelter and we are planning to do it again this year.

  14. This Christmas, when I visit my grandparent's house, I can help my grandma by walking her dogs, cleaning up after myself, and holding doors for her. I'll help my grandpa when he goes hunting and trapping and with the restoration of my B.B. gun. Just as importantly, though, I plan to help with opening presents. I should be a big help there!

    Merry Christmas!!
