The Anti-Defamation League recognized Kinkaid as a No Place for Hate school for 2011-2012. Please describe what a No Place for Hate School is and how you will help us achieve this status again this year.
As a teacher, I work to make my classroom a safe place where understanding and kindness take place every day. I want my students to feel comfortable. We wrote a classroom constitution that recognizes that sometimes mistakes do happen, but if you hurt someone's feelings, you have to make it right.
don't put people down put them up treat people how you want to be treated I have been put down many times and I don't want other people to feel that way
A no place for hate school is following the four core values Honesty,Respect,Responsibility and,Kindness to everybody in the grade and in the lower school and most of all the teachers.
I think that no place for hate means to be kind,respectful, honest and responsibility and to make others comfortable around you,your community and also your space
