Today, we finished reading How to Steal a Dog by Barbara O'Connor. What are your thoughts about Georgina's actions? What are some of the big themes in the book? Do you have any lingering questions?     1. I love how to steal a dog.I think Georgina did the right thing by taking Willy back home and not receiving the money. At least Georgina got a real home to live in even if she didn't get the money. I think that the book makes you think about how to treat people. I wonder what we are reading next?

  2. Wow Goergena broght Willy home! And got no money! At least she got a home. And learnd her lesson. DO NOT STEAL A DOG!!!!! I loved this book. It was so intresting. I can't wate for the next book.

  4. I LOVED HOW TO STEAL A DOG. I wonder if it is hard to live in a car but happy that she got a house. why does Mookie fix things. What if people don't want it fix. #howtostealadog

  6. I was really happy that Georgina did the right thing. The big themes were homelessness and doing the right thing. My questions are what is her dad's name and did she ever have her own house and not an apartment? Thank you for reading HOW TO STEAL A DOG!!!!! :]

  7. I think "How to Steal a Dog By: Barbara O'Connor" is a great book. What I learned was, DON'T STEAL DOGS!!! The book. Is. AWESOME!!!

  9. georgina kind of did the right thing. But she shouldn't have stolen a dog. I think she should have just wait until her mom got the money from her mom's job.

  16. I wonder if Georgina ever got to find a place for just her Toby, and her mom. And did her dad ever come back? I really like how Georgina told the truth, that was very brave of her and she could have just lied to Carmela but she told the truth. Although every thing ends the right way and that was the way she liked it.

  26. I'm glad that Georgina finally made the right decision in the end.I wonder if Georgina still is ok with living in her new house.I also wonder if she will become greedy again and steal something else so she can have her own fancy apartment.That would be bad.
