Dan Yaccarino
In less than two weeks the author, Dan Yaccarino, will be visiting our school. Today CAFE attendees read All the Way to America, which is a book about immigration and the American Dream. We also read Jacques Cousteau (please watch) who became our guide of the oceans. Please visit Mr. Yaccarino's website and read more about him. You may want to watch a few of his videos. Please tell us what you have learned about Mr. Yaccarino and write 2 or 3 questions that you would like to ask him as an author and illustrator. Be original!!!

DeleteI've learned that Dan Yaccarino likes to write about matters in life, like the 50 states of America (In the book Go Go America), his family (In the book All the way to America) and famous people ( In the book Jacques Cousteau.) Some of the questions I want to ask him is: When he was a kid, did he always want to be an author and illustrator or something else, if so, when he was young did he like drawing pictures or writing more? I also wonder how many books he has written? Has he ONLY illustrated or wrote a book before, or does he only make books by himself? I hope my questions will be answered soon!!!

I am very excited that Dan Yaccarino is coming to our school! I did not know that Dan Yaccarino was the illustrator for Oswald but he is. when I was little I watched Oswald all the time. Now here are my Questions.
